First, we removed all of the wood framing. Then, we removed the existing metal Bilco door and two courses of loose cinder block. Then, we installed two courses of cinder block and formed and poured a 4″ concrete cap. Then, we parged and finished all of the masonry with Dryvit. We installed the new custom fabricated, metal basement door.
