Sometimes we only need to remove a little dirt to install
an egress window. In this instance we uncovered the underground roof drain – as you can see, we spliced it back together. To install the
egress window, we removed some of the vinyl siding, cut the opening in
the foundation wall, installed the JeldWen, egress compliant, 30″ x 48″
casement window, then replaced the vinyl siding. That is Logan, my
youngest son, in one of the photos (He supervised the project :-D).
